Sad

Feeling sad is normal and dipping in and out of being sad, even when your parent is very sick, is normal too. Sadness needs to come out so try not to hide it.

Ways to Cope

  • Ask for hugs and have a cry

  • Give your favourite soft toy a cuddle

  • Write down things that make you feel better and try to do some of those things.

  • Talk or play with a grown-up or friend to make you feel better

  • Make your own den
